Using the finders with the calculators
A finder gives you a class of caliber or a type of shot and choke. Use the Rifle & Scope or Shotgun calculators to check the energy, drop and pattern of a specific load, then test it at the range. Check your wildlife agency's rules for legal calibers and shot types before you buy ammunition.
